Vincent Henry Blahnik , 79, of Forestville, passed away at St. Vincent Hospital on September 29, 2017. He was born to the late Jacob and Henrietta (Krueger) Blahnik on March 12, 1938. Vincent proudly served his country in the United States Army. Following his time in the service, he worked at Monarch Ware in Algoma. In May of 1991 he married Sue in Sturgeon Bay. Vincent greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing, tinkering around building just about anything, and spending money on his grandchildren.
Vincent is survived by his wife Sue; son Vincent (Molly) Blahnik; step-children Kenny (fiancAC. Atlanta) Richardson, and Matthew Richardson; grandchildren, Addison and Conner; step-grandchildren, Vincent, Charlotte, and Phoenix; father-in-law Kenneth Tesch; brothers, Robert (Judi) Blahnik, Larry Blahnik, Maynard (Mary Jo) Blahnik, and Donny Blahnik; sisters-in-law Beverly Blahnik and JoAnn Blahnik; his special pet bird Hunter, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Jacob and Henrietta Blahnik; mother-in-law Patricia Tesch; brothers, Leo (Helen) Blahnik, Jim Blahnik, Howard (Delores) Blahnik, and Pete Blahnik; and sisters Gertrude Blahnik and Myrtle Blahnik.
Visitation will be held at Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home, Algoma, from 3 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday October 4, 2017. Funeral Service will be at 7 p.m. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Online condolences may be shared here .
