Rose Marie (Naze)Andre passed away with Unity Hospice at Bay Road Place December 3, 2014. Rose Marie Naze was born on August 29, 1934 in Gardner - Door County to the late Catherine (Willems) and William Naze. She married Wallace Andre on Sept. 29, 1954 in Rosiere. Wallace preceded her in death on June 24, 2005. Rose was a loving and dedicated Mother, caregiver to her mother-in-law, Lucy, and husband Wallace prior to their passing. She enjoyed knitting dishcloths and making quilts for her children and grandchildren. She loved solving the Green Bay Press Gazette crossword puzzles and even came up with her own puzzle solving dictionary.
Rose was a woman of deep faith. She was a life-time member of St. Peter/St. Hubert parish giving many years of service by donating her time serving funeral dinners. She prayed the rosary religiously.
Rose is survived by her 5 children, Perry (Lori) Andre, Casco; Terri (Jeff) Krause, Algoma; Brenda (Kim) Walker, New Franken; Debbie (Dan) Zeman, Algoma; Kevin (Jill)Andre, Kewaunee ; and 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Rose is also survived by a brother Jack (Darlene) Naze, Forestville and a sister Linda (Jerry) Jonet, Casco; sister in laws Valerie (Hal) Dubois, Annette (Ron) Joniaux and Priscilla Baudhuin, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws Wallace and Lucy Andre, sister-in-law Sister Lucy Andre; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Laverne and Bernard Baudhuin; brother-in-law Walter Derenne.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2014 at Wiesner-Massart Funeral Home, Casco from 4 to 8pm. Rosary 6pm Friday at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Saturday morning at the funeral home from 8:30 to 10am. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am Saturday at St. Hubert Catholic Church, Rosiere with Fr. Dennis Drury and Deacon Paul Zenefski officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery. Online condolence messages may be shared here .
Rose's family would like to extend their gratitude and thanks to all who visited her at Bay Road. To the caregivers at Bay Road and Unity Hospice for all the loving care and support they gave to Rose and her family during this difficult time.
Dear Mom, we will always feel blessed to have had you as a mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. You will always be in our hearts and remembered lovingly. You are now home and reunited with Dad.
