Jim A. Adams , 77, of Casco passed away peacefully at home on Saturday April 30, 2016. He was born to the late Charlie and Viola (Hendricks) Adams on May 27, 1938. He was a graduate of Casco High School in 1956. He served in the United States Army Reserve for nine years after high school. He married Judy DeJardin on October 17, 1959. Jim was a dairy farmer and spent his life farming on the Adams Family Homestead. He was awarded the Kewaunee County Conservation Farm Award in 1999. He retired on October 5th 2003; but continued to help with field work which he truly enjoyed. Jim loved to attend car shows and collected antique cars and tractors. He participated in the annual Kewaunee County tractor rally each June. He loved classic country music and old country western movies. He always enjoyed attending the grandkids sporting events and loved to follow the Green Bay Packers, Badgers and Brewers. Jim enjoyed playing cards, Seroogys chocolates, and visiting with family.

Jim is survived by his wife Judy; 4 children Steve (Debbie) Adams, Luxemburg, Don (Gail) Adams, Casco, Cheryl (Tim) Hendricks, DePere, Pat (Tina) Adams, Green Bay; 12 grandchildren Diana (Jon) Fanis, Ryan Adams, Lauren Adams, Patrick Loritz, Alyssa Loritz, Liz (Ken) Kallies, Vanessa (Joe) Vanderbloemen, Matt (fiancAC. Haley) Adams, Brent (Dexi) Lamal, Dylan Hendricks, Austin Hendricks, and Travis Hendricks; and 5 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother David (Linda) Adams; sisters-in-law Donna (Wayne) Hermans, Sherry Enz and special friend Leonard; brother-in-law Alvin Rabas; and 8 nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Viola Adams; one sister Virgil Rabas; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Martin and Stella DeJardin.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 3, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Casco. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. with Fr. Milton Suess officiating. Entombment will follow at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum; Bay Settlement. Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home of Casco is assisting the family. Online condolences may be shared here .
