Grace A. Tlachac, 85, of Forestville passed away on Thursday January 16, 2014 after a short illness. She was born December 1, 1928 in Rosiere to the late Paul and Josephine (Massart) Dantoin. She attended LaFayette Grade School and Casco High School. On June 27, 1950 she married Robert Tlachac at St. Hubert Catholic Church. She farmed with her husband in the Forestville area until retirement. Bob preceded her in death on January 5, 2008. Grace enjoyed gardening, and going out to eat with her two sisters. She was a member of St. Hubert Altar Society, the Catholic Order of Foresters, and the Maplewood Senior Club.
Grace is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Becky and Kent Hayek, Phoenix AZ; one son Michael Tlachac, Sturgeon Bay; one grandson Tyler Stewart, Flagstaff AZ; and two sisters Otilla Wautlet, Casco; and Esther Burke, Kewaunee. She was preceded in death by one son Paul; brothers, sisters, and in-laws Johanna (Otto) Juza, Ranson (Margaret) Dantoin, Alden (Lorraine) Dantoin, Alfred Wautlet, and Kenneth Burke.
Visitation will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church in Lincoln on Monday January 20, 2014 from 9 to 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 a.m. with Fr. Jim Massart and Deacon Paul Zenefski officiating. Burial will follow in St. Hubert Catholic Cemetery, Rosiere. Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home is assisting the family.
