Doris Josephine Kinnard , 87, Casco, passed away at Autumn Fields Senior Living Community on Friday, April 7, 2017, with her family at her side. She was born in Namur on June 24, 1929 to the late George and Josephine (Draize) Jeanquart. After graduation from Brussels High School in 1947, she worked as a telephone operator in Forestville. On October 18, 1949 she married Norbert J. Kinnard at St. Mary's of the Snow Catholic Church, Namur. With Norbert, she operated a dairy farm in the Township of Red River for over 40 years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and creating beautiful quilts for family and friends. The many family gatherings she hosted fostered lasting memories for her children and grandchildren. An active member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Lincoln, Doris served on the parish council and as president of the St. Anne Altar Society, coordinating funeral lunches for many years.
Surviving Doris is her husband Norbert of 67 years; daughter Lois (Ron) Mauermann, Green Bay; their sons, Fred (Jessie), Phil (Ali), Jacob; son Roger (Theresa), Sturgeon Bay and their children Josh (Kim), Carmen, Hugh (Laura), Franni (Jeremy) Malcore, Ben; daughter Rita (Paul) Keber, Waukesha; son Sam (Shari), Casco, and their children Eric (Dixie), Jason and Adam; son Pat, Kewaunee, and his children, Brent (Kari), Collin (fiancAC. Brittany), and Chantel. She is further survived by 13 great grandchildren, Josie, Paige, Camden, Kendall, Jude, Walker, Mason, Lexie, Will, Ana, Brock, Lane and Karter. She is also survived by one sister Emily Dhuey and sisters-in-law Madeline Jeanquart and Sharon Kinnard; sisters-in law and brothers-in-law, Vincent (Darlene) Kinnard, Monica (Kilton) VandenHouten, Marvin (Donna) Kinnard, Allen (Dottie) Kinnard, and many nieces and nephews.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents and father and mother-in-law, Bill and Lucy (LeRoy) Kinnard; sisters and brothers-in-law Celine (John) Cumber, Marie (James) Jadin; brothers and sisters-in-law Roy Jeanquart, George (Blanche) Jeanquart; brothers-in-law Harris Dhuey and Mark Kinnard and Godchild Linda Opicka.
Visitation with the family will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 from 4-8 pm at Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home, 107 Wiesner Ave., Casco. Rosary will be held at 7:30 pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at St. Peter Catholic Church, Lincoln, from 9:30-11:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am with Fr. Tony Birdsall and Deacon Paul Zenefski officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Online condolences may be shared here .
